Main Office Receptionist

Fraser High School is seeking a well organised, professional Administrator to join our front office team. This is a key role supporting our students, staff, and whaanau, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our school.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact at our Main Reception, providing high-quality service to all visitors and managing a range of administrative tasks. You’ll also support Senior Leadership and Deans’ team, helping with everything from attendance tracking to event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, mail, and deliveries

  • Support student needs including passes, attendance notes, and first aid (training provided)

  • Maintain accurate student records and assist with data entry

  • Provide admin support to the Senior Leadership and Deans and assist with pastoral care documentation

  • Prepare letters, forms, and reports as required

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold school values

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (KAMAR experience a plus)

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A positive, can-do attitude and cultural sensitivity

  • Previous admin or school reception experience preferred

  • First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Must pass police vetting
